 This 1990 blockbuster film has become a popular Christmas family movie. Starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, who was accidentally left behind by his parents at home on a chaotic morning on their way to a family vacation. Home Alone depicts the silent wishes of most children because we all wanted the house to ourselves at one point during our childhood. More understandable for Kevin because he is a child born into a rowdy and full house with a bully for an older brother, so you can imagine his delight after being left behind for the Christmas holiday with the house to himself. Hence the Title. Being alone started to get troublesome when unwanted visitors sets their sights on His parent's house, we get to experience Kevin's effort at guarding his home in the funniest way possible. With His parents racing to get to their son and a boy wishing he had his family back. This movie brings the perfect blend of holiday spirit and family wholesomeness.

Five Feet Apart 

If I was asked what the heartfelt romance of the decade is; then Five Feet Apart comes to mind instantly. This movie is about the impossible made possible through love. 

Five Feet Apart is a 2019 romantic drama film directed by Justin Baldoni and inspired by the real-life experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis. The story was developed alongside the novel of the same name by Rachael Lippincott, with contributions from Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis. The film centers on the emotional challenges faced by young patients whose medical conditions force them to keep physical distance, highlighting themes of love, loss, and resilience within a hospital setting.

Its title gives a hint into the love trial of these two stars crossed lovers who defies the odds and loved with all their heart. Five feet apart is about two young people with serious medical conditions who fall in love but must keep physical distance five feet from each other. It’s an intimate, emotional, tender, and bittersweet YA romance movie that you’ll absolutely love.

The Parent Trap 

Brought to the screen in 1998, The Parent Trap is an American family comedy film directed by Nancy Meyers and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a remake of the 1961 film of the same name, which was based on the novel Lottie and Lisa by Erich Kästner. Lindsay Lohan is fantastic in her role as mischievous twins who swap lives to reunite their divorced parents.      

  Switching up lives is a new and fun experience for the twins as they learn how to live with both estranged parents and navigate how to change their parent's relationship status from divorced to Re-married again. It's all easy until a potential stepmother comes into the mix and threatens their plans and schemes for happiness. Light, funny, and endlessly charming, this is a great pick when you want something wholesome and fun. This movie is prescribed for anyone in need of a smile. 

Enola Holmes 

Who wouldn't love Enola Holmes, she's the strong independent character that redefines the concept of women fragility. Enola Holmes is a spirited coming of age detective story starring a youthful, independent sleuth forging her own path away from famous older brothers. Throughout the movie we also get to enjoy her quirky relationship with her brother; Sherlock Holmes and a peek into his life.
